For some strange reason, my child chews on her clothes. I am not talking about a wet shirt, I mean really chews. We have eaten the collars off so many clothes. She goes through phases where this is a HUGE deal, and then sometimes she won't chew at all. Well... unfortunately we are back to some major chewing. In fact, she ate the collar off of her shirt today. I have tried various approaches to get her to stop. We remind her, take things away, she gets spankings, but nothing works forever. Tonight we are going to try a new approach. David made her a shirt chart. For every day she goes without chewing, she gets a shirt colored. When all the shirts have been colored, she gets a pair of Lelli Kelly shoes. I am not sure what the fascination is with this particular pair of shoes, but she loves them. Hope this works!!!
These are the Lelli Kelly shoes. Not the ones I would have picked out but if it stops shirt chewing I am all for it!!
